Step Forward for Parents
These is a programme for parents of children aged up to 12 years,
and are living in the eastern part the Merton. We aim to help parents into work
or training. This programme offers information, advice and guidance, access to
training courses, signposting to other agencies for support and advice, social
and family events including aspects of parenting and family learning.
Aims
In one year we aim to reach 100 local parents, assist 20 of these
into full or part-time work, 25 into accredited training, 15 into structured
volunteering and 10 into work experience or work taster sessions.
